How to fund a 1xBet Portugal account: the 2026 rails

Funding · Startups Fever · 2026

A euro account at the cashier opens with a one-euro floor. That number is not marketing: Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller and the eight crypto rails all accept 1 €. MB Way and Multibanco start at 5 €, Paysafecard and SEPA at 10 €. The operator behind the desk is 1X Corp N.V., licensed in Curaçao as 1668/JAZ, live since 2007.

The method you pick on the first top-up is the method that will pay you later. A founder who treats this like any other payment stack — pick a rail, keep the same name on the account, document the flow — avoids the three-day refund loop that hits people who deposit by prepaid voucher and then try to leave by card. The methods below are the ones that actually work from Portugal, as listed on 1xbetportugal.org.

Which rails clear from a Portuguese IBAN

1xBet Portugal deposit: euro notes, a debit card and a phone showing a generic mobile-payment confirmation on a desk

MB Way is the default for anyone who already pays the grocer from a Portuguese mobile number. The floor is 5 €, the credit hits the sports balance in seconds, and the same rail can pay a withdrawal inside 24 hours once the account is verified. Multibanco by reference also starts at 5 €, but it does not reverse: money that entered through an ATM reference has to leave by transfer, wallet or card.

Cards are the cheap experiment. Visa and Mastercard take 1 € and post it immediately. The cost, if any, sits on the issuing bank: some Portuguese issuers treat gambling top-ups as cash advances. The house itself does not add a cashier fee on the way in or the way out.

Skrill, Neteller, Jeton and Payz all open at 1 €. They are the rails that later clear a payout in 15 minutes to three hours. Paysafecard starts at 10 € and, like Multibanco, cannot send money back. Use it only if you already have a wallet or an IBAN in your own name ready for the exit.

What the first 20 euros should tell you

A 1 € deposit proves the card or wallet works. It does not prove you can leave. A 20 € top-up on MB Way or Skrill, followed by one settled sports bet, is the smallest honest test of the full loop. Crypto at the 1 € equivalent tests the network fee more than the house: on a busy Bitcoin mempool the miner cut can exceed the stake.

  • MB Way: 5 € minimum, withdrawable, typical payout under 24 hours.
  • Visa or Mastercard: 1 € minimum, withdrawable, bank side takes 1 to 7 business days.
  • Skrill or Neteller: 1 € minimum, withdrawable, 15 minutes to 2 hours once verified.
  • Jeton or Payz: 1 € minimum, withdrawable, up to 3 hours.
  • Paysafecard: 10 € minimum, not withdrawable on the same rail.
  • SEPA transfer: 10 € minimum, 2 to 5 business days on the way out.

Crypto, currency lock and the welcome-bonus trap

1xBet crypto deposit: hardware wallet, USB stick and a printed network receipt beside euro coins, no logos

Bitcoin, Ethereum and USDT take the euro equivalent of 1 €. Litecoin, Ripple, Dogecoin, TRON and TON sit on the same floor. Credits land after on-chain confirmations, usually 15 to 40 minutes.

The house converts at its own rate into the account currency you picked at signup. That currency never changes.

Pick EUR on day one. A USD wallet forces a conversion on every MB Way top-up and again on every withdrawal back to a Portuguese IBAN. The eight crypto networks still work with a euro account; the conversion happens at the cashier, not as a second wallet.

The welcome offer is 100 percent up to 100 € on the first sports deposit. It is a percentage, so 1 € in is 1 € of bonus and 100 € in is the cap. The catch is operational: you choose the offer in the profile before you pay. Anyone who leaves “No bonus” selected does not get a backfill later.

Rollover is a cash-flow line, not a marketing line

The sports welcome bonus asks for a 5x rollover on multiples of three or more events, each priced at 1.40 or higher. While that is open, real balance and bonus balance are locked together. Cancel the offer in the profile if you need the cash out more than the extra 100 € — cancellation wipes the promotional amount and frees the rest.

Treat verification as a day-one task

1xBet does not ask for documents at signup. It asks when money leaves. The pack is a citizen card or passport, a utility bill or bank statement under three months old, and a photo of the card or wallet that funded the account.

Review usually takes two to 48 hours. Blurry corners and flash on the hologram are the usual reject reasons.

Deposits themselves post in seconds except for bank transfer. Support chat runs 24 hours in Portuguese. The same balance funds a Sporting–Benfica ticket and a Pragmatic Play slot; only the bonus wallet stays separate until rollover is done.

SEPA at 10 € is the slow, boring rail that still matters if a founder wants an IBAN paper trail. Two to five business days on the way out is the price of that trail. MB Way is the opposite: five euros in, seconds to credit, under a day out once KYC is green. Pick one as the default and stop mixing prepaid vouchers into the same profile.

If you are testing the stack the way you would test Stripe, do it in this order: open the account in EUR, turn the welcome offer on or off on purpose, send 20 € on a rail you can also withdraw, place one settled bet, then submit the three documents before you ever click “Withdraw”. The 1 € floor is a technical minimum, not a complete rehearsal of the cash cycle.
